Two sticks, one wedge and stone

Yin Yang Console table - The original design idea was to have two intersecting pieces of wood, one curved and the other straight, thus the name Yin Yang. The design challenge was for the entire piece to easily breakdown by removing a single wedge-tenon, including the 60 lb. granite top. Two pieces of wood, one wedge and a granite slab – keep it simple.
